Turkey Approves Actions Against Iraq: Today's Cartoon

When President Bush says that the possibility of Turkey invading Iraq in response to "terrorism" would not be in their interest, I believe him; after all, he's speaking from over four years of experience. It's just too bad that no one was around to tell him the same thing... oh wait, there was.

Now, I'm not condoning the invasion of Iraq, but if the Bush Administration felt justified to do it out of fear of an "imaginary" threat, then what right do they have to say that other countries can't do it; especially in response to ACTUAL attacks?

While the "Pottery Barn rule" that former U.S. Secretary of State Colin Powell famously assigned to America's occupation of Iraq may have been "you break, it you own it", in the years since it "broke" this has seemingly become less of a consequence and more of an incentive for other countries to march into the store as well.
