Today's Cartoon: The United States Grants Aid to Palestinians

If the United States really wanted to help the Palestinians, wouldn't they have already figured out a way to give aid to the people through some sort of intermediary (something similar to what the EU and the UN have just now arranged)?

"Terrorism" is defined as "systematic intimidation as a method of governing or securing political or other ends." Now, obviously the world shouldn't support governments that practice or sponsor terrorism; but if that was REALLY the case then every country would be as isolated as North Korea.

The way I see it, the world is like a wolf pack full of alpha males, each one trying to assert it's dominance over the others... through "systematic intimidation". The problem with Hamas is that in the past, they have been incredibly sloppy in their tactics. Through their overt attempts at "systematic intimidation", the only thing that Hamas has been able to accomplish is justify the retaliation against them. That being said, any form of "systematic intimidation" (whether it's bombings, kidnappings, economic sanctions or embargoes) is basically just an invitation for retaliation, through (you guessed it) more "systematic intimidation".

The methods may be different, but the outcome will always remain the same.
